The Dangers of Listening to Music - Nouman Ali Khan

Shyness/Modesty:

*Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) passed by a man of the Ansar who was admonishing his brother regarding shyness. Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Leave him alone, for modesty is a part of Iman."[Al-Bukhari].

*Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Shyness does not bring anything except good."
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

*Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Iman has sixty odd or seventy odd branches. The uppermost of all these is the Testimony of Faith: 'La ilaha illallah' (there is no true god except Allah) while the least of them is the removal of harmful object from the road. And shyness is a branch of Iman."
[Al-Bukhari].

*Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was even shier than a virgin behind her veil.
[Al-Bukhari].

*Plucking Eyebrows*

Sisters, shaping/plucking eyebrows is against Islam. 

Abd-Allaah ibn Masood said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa sallam) say: "Allaah has CURSED the woman who does tattoos and the one who has them done, the woman who plucks eyebrows and theone who has it done, and the one who files her teeth for the purpose of beauty, altering the creation of Allaah." 
(Bukhaari, Muslim) 

What about plucking the hair BETWEEN the eyebrows?

The Ulama tell us that it is permissible to pluck it, because it is not part of the eyebrows.

*Sisters we must follow the guidelines which have been set for us. I know its hard  to stay away from doing this, but we must try. It is sinful plucking the eyebrows, so lets stay away from it. Honestly speaking I like natural eyebrows, it makes that girls look really natural and innocent. I have really bushy eyebrows myself, so I know how hard it is to refrain from this act, but we must keep away and not listen to the shaytaan; he will mislead and misguide us. Also, sisters remember that this life is temporary lets refrain from sinful acts and try our best to attain Jannah. In shaa Allah, Allah will reward us for our patience*

 

*Lets not forget to engage in dhikr everyday*

*Message to my Sisters in Islam*

Sisters, lets make sure we are dressing to please Allah and not his creation. Also, lets make sure that we are wearing our hijab to please Allah and adhering to the guidelines. The hijab should not be so tight that it reveals the shape of our body. Also, we should not adorn ourselves so much with make up, perfume, high heels, when going out. Lets not make our hijabs fashion statements. 





*It is proven in Saheeh Muslim and elsewhere from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “There are two types of the people of Hell whom I have not seen: men with whips like the tails of cattle with which they strike the people, and women who are clothed but naked, walking with an enticing gait, with something like the humps of camels on their heads. They will not enter Paradise nor even smell its fragrance, and its fragrance can be smelled from such and such a distance” (Muslim)*

    * Islam has placed a lot of emphasis on the respect of parents, especially the mother. Always love your parents be kind to them and never disobey them. *

     *Smile all day everyday no matter how stressed out, angry or sad you may be*

      

*Lets make sure that we are offering our prayers 5 times a day. It is very important as Salah is the first thing we will be questioned about on the day of judgement*

*Abu Hurairah (radiallahu anh) reported: The Messenger of Allah (salallahu alayhi wa salalm) said, "The first of man's deeds for which he will be called to account on the Day of Resurrection will be Salat. If it is found to be perfect, he will be safe and successful; but if it is incomplete, he will be unfortunate and a loser. If any shortcoming is found in the obligatory Salat, the Glorious and Exalted Rubb will command to see whether His slave has offered any voluntary Salat so that the obligatory Salat may be made up by it. Then the rest of his actions will be treated in the same manner.'' [At-Tirmidhi]*

*Easy dhikr for extensive rewards* It only takes a few seconds.. lets make sure we engage in dhirk constantly*
